Be Inspired and Learn Something New
What holds you up?
I don’t have to tell you how things are more than a little f*cked up out there across just about every aspect of the world.
Fortunately, many of us have support in our lives in some form, whether we are fully aware, or whether we appreciate it or not.
This week we are going to explore this concept by considering what support means to you, and then creating photos to express these ideas.
Support might be as simple as structural support, a physical object that is holding something in place, like the steel truss on the Smithfield Street Bridge in Pittsburgh.
Support can also be a helping hand to guide us.
We might have spiritual support coming from our faith, or the belief in something greater than ourselves.
Emotional support is important too, which can be little more indulgent.
Let us not forget about technical support in the form of those who guide and teach us every day.
Think about your definition of support and create some photos!
Last Week’s Prompt Photos for “Feline”
Whether a resident of your living room, or from the streets of some Mediterranean village, cats are quite adaptable to adjusting to their surroundings.
Looking over all of the photos shared this week, I found myself drawn to the tension dynamic between living in the wild, versus living in captivity.
In the end, we all do the best we can with the life we are given, whether feline, human, or the many creatures, large and small in between.
If you need one more feline fix,
aptly observed this week about how “cameras seem to have a secret lust for cats” in her post, feline. And don’t forget to have a look at all the photos shared for last week’s Feline prompt on Aminus3.
"Purrfect" message and visuals in these unbalanced, unstable times!
Thanks so much!!! Also looking forward to this prompt.
